Ethiopian Airlines (ET) starts its maiden flight for PVG today. As PACTL new customer, the company now is flying B747-200F once a week for the route of ADD-PVG-ALA-ADD. We wish ET all the best for its business at Shanghai.
2G, PACTL West new customer (2010/07/15)
PACTL West new customer, Cargoitalia(2G), already started its operation officially on July 08 at Cargo Area West. The company once was handled at our Terminal 1 for about twenty month and suspended its service as of September 01 2008. Now 2G is flying with two times of MD11 freighter by the routing of MXP-PVG-MXP.
O3, PACTL new customer (2010/07/01)
Starting from today, SF Airlines (O3) as PACTL new customer is implementing six flgihts weekly with the routing of SZX-PVG-SZX by B757-200F. The company will be operated at our Terminal 2 at East Cargo Area.
Truck flgiht frequency increased to Hangzhou (2010/06/13)
Customer Airlines, In order to provide our customers with better Road Feeder Service, PACTL will add truck frequency to Hangzhou, namely increase truck flight from existing 3 times per week to 5 times weekly except Friday and Saturday. The above adjustment will be effective from 16 Jun 2010.

Special control to certain Dangerous Chemicals (2010/06/12)
Dear Customer Airlines and Forwarding Agents,
As informed by related departments of Shanghai Government (notice attached), during June 15 to October 15, the road transportation for listed 226 flammable/explosive/toxic goods (attached) will be forbidden from 10:00am to 4:00pm; Loading and unloading of these goods are not allowed from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
PACTL will do accordingly. For the period of June 15 to October 15, the import delivery for relative dangerous chemicals only can be done before 10:00am and after 4:00pm; Export acceptance only can be done before 8:00am and after 4:00.

Warehouse Use Charge for Domestic Inbound Cargo adjusted (2010/04/29)
Domestic Customer Airlines, Agents and Shippers,
Due to continuously rising costs of labor and operation, PACTL will adjust certain service charge of domestic cargo handling after calculation as following:
Warehouse Use Charge for Dome. Inbound Cargo changed from RMB0.20/kg to RMB0.25/kg.
The above adjustment will be effective as of June 01 2010 after one month’s publication.

Acceptance of odd size/super heavy shipments resumed (2010/04/19)
Customer Airlines & Forwarding Agents,
As informed by the Superior, the acceptance of odd size/super heavy shipments need 24-hour cooling off is resumed as of this day in order to guarantee the development of airfreight business of Shanghai airport areas. The previous Announcement No. 011-10 is superseded by this notice.
But for the cargo and mail to be carried by passenger flights must be checked by X-ray machine during following time: days of opening/closing ceremony of Expo, day of Chinese Pavillion and Summit Forum period.

Notice for Toxic Chemical & Radioisotopes Transportation (2010/04/09)
According to the notice from PVG Public Security Bureau, PACTL will implement following measures starting from April 15 to November 15 2010:
1) Agents need to provide original Road Transportation Pass for Toxic Chemicals besides related documents when doing the delivery/pickup of Toxic Chemicals (mainly Division 2.3 and 6.1).
2) Agents need to provide original Transportation Pass of Radioisotopes during Shanghai Expo besides related documents when doing the delivery/pickup of Radioisotopes.
PACTL will check said Passes seriously and keep copies.

VN, PACTL new customer (2010/04/02)
Vietnam Airlines (VN) made its maiden flight on 28 March. As ground handler, PACTL provides warehouse service for VN. The company now operates seven frequencies per week by A321 with routing of PVGSGN and PVGHAN. We wish VN all the best and good luck for the business in China.
PACTL suspend air to air transfer service provided by FM (2010/03/18)
Customer Airlines,
Due to the restructure and merger of MU and FM, presently their operation is in the process of internal integration. Therefore, FM decided to suspend the air-to-air service with PACTL. Hereby we inform you that from now on PACTL suspend the air-to-air transfer service provided by FM for international import goods (excludes air-to-air service to Haikou provided by HU). Our transfer operation will mainly rely on trucking service.
Once the above problem solved, we will notify you timely and resume the service. Thanks for your understanding and support.
