Notice on DG Cargo Transportation Restriction during the 6th China International Import Expo
Dear Valued Customers:
The 6th China
International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from 5th Nov, 2023 to 10th Nov, 2023. According
to the requirements from relevant departments, PACTL (PVG and SHA) and PACTL
West Terminal will strictly restrict the delivery of Firearms and ammunition、Explosives
for civilian use、Highly toxic
chemicals、Radioactive
material and Precursor chemicals from 00:00 on 1st Nov, 2023 to 24:00
on 12th
Nov,2023.
During this
period, for the transportation of Firearms and ammunition、Explosives
for civilian use、Highly
toxic chemicals、Class I
radioactive materials in whole area of city and the transportation of Precursor
chemicals （Hydrochloric、Sulphuric
acid、Acetone、Potassium
permanganate one or several）, and some Class Ⅱ、Ⅲ
radioactive materials in CIIE designated
area, the consignee or their agent must present the administrative approval
that has been completed before October 31st, and must equip the entrusted security company personnel and
vehicles with armed escort qualifications.
