Special transit vehicles are equipped to connect PVG and SHA quickly in a seamless manner to achieve full-process supervision, including route management, personnel control, information monitoring, en-route supervision, and regional monitoring of general air cargo in intermodal transit between two airports.

Forward terminal is set in Suzhou to strengthen cargo collection in the hinterland, assisted with export transfer, one-stop import and customs clearance, as well as one-stop export and customs clearance services out of Shanghai.

For the transit cargo with higher time sensitivity in international interline air transfer operations, PACTL has launched direct ramp transit service which ensures the entire operation, from cargo arrival to re-loading within 4-6 hours. This type of cargo is directly processed on the ramp for cargo handling and outbound ULD airworthiness inspection.

For quick transit cargo, airlines are required to provide forecast 24 hours before carogo's arrival. After actual transit cargo is warehoused, PACTL will complete relevant operation within 6-12 hours: 6 hours for ULDs and 12 hours for bulk cargo within 10 tons.
