Upon the notification from the higher authority, a new requirement upon the transportation of firearms and certain categories of dangerous goods that might be present in cargoes on all flights has been issued as follow:
For the period from 00:00, July 15th(UTC+8) to 24:00, July 21st(UTC+8), domestic flights (including domestic legs of international flights) departing from, arriving in or stopping over in the area of Shanghai shall stop receiving or dispatching firearms, ammunition (Class 1 Explosives), civilian explosives, fireworks and firecrackers (Class 1 Explosives), highly toxic chemicals (Class 2.3 Toxic Gas and Class 6.1 Toxic Substances), radioactive substances (Class 7) as well as explosive precursor chemicals and drug precursor chemicals.
